A Canadian teaching assistant in British Columbia says she’s been given an ultimatum by her full-time employer. Take down her OnlyFans content or else she’ll be fired.
According to Global News, Kristen MacDonald makes the content to help supplement her income as a single mother.
MacDonald uses the name Miss Ava James or #DommyMommy.
She says the money she makes as a teaching assistant is not enough to support her and her child and that what she does during her private time should not matter. The school district thinks otherwise.
It received a complaint about MacDonald’s content and notified her that it potentially violates an employment agreement.
“My reaction when I received the letter, obviously, this is a controversial topic,” MacDonald told Global News. “I took precautions in order to keep all my fans and my education job separate.”
MacDonald says she makes roughly $25 an hour and works roughly 25-30 hours per week at her full-time job. She did not reveal how much she makes through her subscription-only content.
The lawyers between the two parties are currently battling it out while the court of public opinion is ramping up.
