Golfer Brooks Koepka’s disdain for Bryson DeChambeau was on full display during an interview from the PGA Championship that leaked and has since been seen millions of times on social media.
The two golfers were attenting the PGA Championship last week at Kiawah Island when Koepka was asked about the challenging conditions.
“I didn’t putt well but I don’t think any of the guys are going to putt well with this wind,” Koepka said. “It’s very tough, I don’t know what other guys said. I just find it difficult to read. Just sometimes…”
Walking behind him, Koepka’s rival then snarkily interjected with Just gotta start it on the right line,” or something to that effect.
Needless to say, DeChambeau’s comment set Koepka off.
“Christ. I f**kin lost my train of thought hearing that bulls**t. F**kin Christ,” Koepka said.
According to the New York Post the two have constantly ripped on each other, with the topic ranging from lack of visible abs to golf swing techniques. However the animosity first began in 2019 when Koepka ripped DeChambeau’s notoriously slow play.
