A woman who has a 29-year-age gap with her significant other has been asked to get therapy by her dad.
Kentucky native Natalie Noble, who is 21 years of age, has been the subject of a lot of criticism for dating half-centurion Bobby Lindsey, who also hails from the Bluegrass State.
The pair met under dubious circumstances, in 2015 when he was her tennis coach and dad to one of the girls on her team.
While the duo insists the relationship was initially appropriate and platonic, it became a “more-than” situation after Noble came of age.
Needless to say, Noble’s dad isn’t thrilled. He suggested therapy while her mom accused Lindsey of taking Noble’s youth away.
According to the Daily Star, the two appear to be sucking it up, claiming to “tolerate” the pairing because Noble is happy.
“I’m 21 and fully capable of making my own decisions. We are just LIVING our life,” she told online critics.
While ten-to-fifteen year age gaps are becoming increasingly common in modern dating, many still shy away from the two-decade mark.
However, one New Zealand girl, 22-year-old Brightnye Quayle, has taken the aversion twice around the block, dating a 57-year-old named James.
The model and diving instructor is frequently confused for James’ daughter.
