A delivery driver for the company Door Dash was allegedly fired after a woman claimed her food was never delivered.
The driver says he woke up the next morning to start work and found out he has been fired, so he decided to confront the woman for lying.
“Uh, I delivered food here yesterday…from Chipoltle and you put down that I didn’t deliver it to you,” the driver said as he approached the front desk of the woman’s work, which appeared to be a doctor’s office.
“Because I just got fired from my job,” he adds.
The masked woman provided a meek and muffled response that was inaudible except to him.
“Yea, it was you,” the driver says with a stern tone.
“This is my only source of income; I do this all day,” he continues. “Now I’m fired from my job because you wanted your ten-dollar burrito.”
The driver continues to ask why she did it but she only offers muffled and inaudible short responses.
Unsatisfied, he asks for a corporate number or a manager.
“I need to get your ass fired,” he says. “Does anyone have a corporate number?”
While refusing to look at the driver, she says, “I’ll contact Door Dash.”
“I’ll contact them but…….” she says while drawing out the word “but.”
The driver quickly interjected, “But what?”
At this point, she ignores him and greets a customer while rolling her eyes at someone near her.
“I’m not stealing,” she says in response to the driver telling her it was theft.
“Seriously, you f***ing piece of trash, that’s what you are,” he says.
At this point, a manager finally steps out and the driver explains what happened.
Just before the video ends, the manager seems to offer a phone number for him to call.
It is not known exactly when or where this occurred, but the incident was allegedly partially resolved.
“He replied to a comment on his YouTube channel that he did get his job back through Doordash support,” a Redditor said. “No update on how the doctor’s office is handling it.”
