A starring actress from a hit HBO show claims she doesn’t make enough money to live the way actors did when she was a kid.
Sydney Sweeney, who stars on the show “Euphoria,” claims she cant take a long break from acting due to her low salary.
“If I wanted to take a six-month break, I don’t have income to cover that,” said Sweeney.
Sweeney is no stranger to the camera, with or without clothes. Her lack of shyness has made her a “sex symbol” of sorts.
According to the New York Post, Sweeney owns a $3 million mansion in Los Angeles.
The starlet claims that by the time she pays her publicist, she’s already outpaced her mortgage.
“I have to pay my publicist every month, and that’s more than my mortgage,” Sweeney said. “If I just acted, I wouldn’t be able to afford my life in LA. I take deals because I have to.”
While Sweeney’s grandparents reportedly said she had the “best tits in Hollywood,” they don’t appear to be doing her any favors financially.
“The established stars still get paid, but I have to give 5 percent to my lawyer, 10 percent to my agents, 3 percent or something like that to my business manager,” she said.
Due to the streaming nature of media these days, actors reportedly no longer get residuals.
