An Uber self-driving car that was operating in autonomous mode has struck and killed a woman crossing the street in Tempe Sunday night.
The woman was not crossing inside the designated crosswalk, according to Tempe police spokesman, Sgt. Ronald Elcock.
Uber has suspended all autonomous testing that they are conducting in multiple U.S. cities.
Authorities are investigating and stated that Uber was assisting, according to AZCentral.
