Aug. 30—Pittsburgh’s North Shore will be busy Wednesday and Thursday as country music fans descend on PNC Park for a two-night stop of Morgan Wallen’s tour.
Both shows appear to be close to selling out, according to Ticketmaster, so that means parking lots packed with cowboy boot-wearing fans as gates open at 4 p.m.
The Miller Lite Kickoff and Rib Festival also is getting underway at Acrisure Stadium starting at noon Wednesday and Thursday, so traffic in the area likely will be busy.
Here are five things to know before you go:
There are tickets left for the back-to-back shows as of Wednesday morning, though most are pricey. Wednesday’s show has tickets for $89.75 available but the cheapest ones for Thursday night start at $249.75, according to Ticketmaster.
There is no admission price to the rib festival, where 12 rib vendors will be set up.
Wallen sold out his show in Burgettstown last year.
