A woman in Hong Kong recently lost her life after she fell off a cliff while trying to snap the perfect selfie for Instagram.
Sofia Cheung, 32, was visiting Ha Pak Lai park around 11 AM on Saturday when she chose to take a risky photo for her followers.
The Pineapple Mountain site where Cheung staged her photo, a popular location with hikers, came with unforeseen hazards- and as a result, Cheung lost her footing.
Falling sixteen feet, Cheung plunged into the water, much to the horror of her three friends.
While emergency services were dispatched, Cheung was ultimately pronounced dead at the hospital.
According to The Sun, Cheung’s last Instagram post -made days prior- suddenly became a chilling memorial to her daredevil lifestyle.
“Better Days are coming. They are called: Saturday and Sunday,” the post read.
