A woman who resides in Miami, Florida went to TikTok to vent about an incident that occurred with her roommate and resulted in police intervention.
Max said that after returning home from spending a couple of nights away from her parent’s home, she couldn’t find her vibrating pleasure device anywhere in her room.
“I got this weird feeling. It’s always there [bedside drawer], so how could it not be there when I haven’t been here,” Max said.
While spending at least 45 minutes trying to figure out where it could have went, she decided to inspect her roommate’s room.
She was disgusted to find it in her roommate’s drawer.
“I go to her bedside drawer and open it – and my vibrator’s there,” she said.
“I think she must have the same brand, same color…she must just have it, and mine just must be misplaced,” she said in disbelief.
After consulting her friends and sister, they suggested a plan to confirm if it was actually hers or not.
She ended up putting a small identifiable mark with eyeliner on it and waited to see if her roommate would put it back in her drawer, according to DailyStar.
After her roommate returned home, Max checked her bedside drawer and the device with the mark on it was back.
“All I know is I don’t feel safe anymore – like who am I living with?” she said.
“I just wanted to get out of there.”
After telling her parents what had happened, her father convinced her to confront her roommate.
The situation ended up escalating to the point where her parents and six officers had to be present while she moved out.
Her roommate still denies ever stealing and claims Max set the whole incident up to break her lease.
“You framed me, I’ve been thinking about it and you put it in my room because you wanted to break the lease early,” Max claims her roommate texted her after she moved out.
“It was so spooky,” Max said.
She claims to have broken all contact and did not even reply to her roomate’s last text.
