A social media model says her career is to blame for giving her vertigo that left her in a wheelchair for several weeks.
According to the NY Post, Fenella Fox says she was diagnosed with ‘digital vertigo’ after she averaged 14 hours a day scrolling and using her phone.
In 2021, while living in Portugal, Fox says she began experiencing nausea and loss of balance when she would walk around. She went to a doctor’s office where they were unable to pinpoint a diagnosis. That’s when she flew home to England and a British doctor declared she was experiencing ‘digital vertigo.’
Though she was never officially diagnosed with the dizzying illness, Fox said she fed the illness while even in the hospital, spending hours scrolling on her phone while laying in bed.
The OnlyFans model, who has amassed more than 150,000 followers on Instagram, said she gave her phone to her parents to lock it away.
Fox stated she makes nearly $15,000 a month creating content and has no other sources of income.
Despite the illness, that continues to creep up when she uses her phone for too long, Fox continues to create content for OnlyFans. Instead of doing it herself, Fox employs videographers and camera people to take the images and videos. This allows her to continue to work without staring at her phone.
