A Canadian OnlyFans creator is now forced to sell her house after the Canadian government seized her assets.
Jessica Massie, a French-Canadian who netted a considerable amount of money through the platform, recently posted a video on TikTok describing how she lost everything.
“I had to call my bank and they informed me that my account had been seized,” she said. “I have no more money.”
So why did the Canadian government take every cent from her bank account?
According to the Daily Star, the 24-year-old made a financial miscalculation of mammoth proportions, using her funds to buy a luxury home built in 2022.
Those funds, it seems, were supposed to pay the steep income taxes imposed upon Canadian subjects.
“I should have prioritized my tax debt before finishing my house,” she lamented.
Assuming she could work out a two-year payment plan with Revenue Canada, she was shocked to learn that they ended up seizing her bank funds within two weeks of notification.
As a result, she had to put her $628k home back on the market.
The house sits next door to the home of her twin sister, Sarah, who also does OF work.
Sarah Massie, the second half of the OF twin duo, believes it is a matter of time before Revenue Canada comes for her home as well.
