Update: New details have been released about the Missouri teacher who recently divorced from her military husband.
Court documents allege the former math teacher at Laquey High School would purposefully dress inappropriately to show off her body to students.
She would wear “tight or low-cut shirts” to show off her cleavage and “tight leggings that ‘showed off her camel toe,’” according to the documents.
Hailey Clifton-Carmack allegedly wanted to leave her husband because he was only into “butt stuff,” according to a witness mentioned in the documents.
Earlier:
Jan. 9 – A teacher and former Army wife in Missouri has been charged with having sexual relations with one of her underaged students.
Hailey Clifton-Carmack was arrested and booked by the Pulaski County Sheriff’s Office after reportedly engaging in a sexual relationship with a 16-year-old boy under her care.
Clifton-Carmack was reported to the PCSO after a school resource officer —who had been tipped off by a member of the Laquey School student body— reported a sexual relationship between a student and a teacher.
The student informant claimed that the 16-year-old victim had shown them photos of scratches on his back, and claimed that Clifton-Carmack had inflicted the marks while having sex in the classmate’s driveway.
The informant added that Clifton-Carmack was “too friendly with students and sometimes will dress inappropriately at school.”
In the past, Clifton-Carmack was reprimanded for sharing parts of her personal life and being too “chummy” with her students.
When confronted by detectives in early December Clifton-Carmack denied having any kind of relationship with any students outside of school.
According to KRCGTV, authorities were tipped off when they were informed that the teacher was going to make a quick stop to meet the student before she went on holiday to Texas.
Additionally, other witnesses claimed that the victim’s father was aware of the sexual relationship and that the father told the witness he knew the couple had used students as lookouts while they had sex during school.
The father reportedly allowed Clifton-Carmack to come over to his residence and see the victim while he was present, telling authorities that “they are going to do it behind my back, so I may as well let it happen.”
The dad, identified as Mark Creighton, has been charged with child endangerment.
As for Clifton-Carmack, she fled to Texas on December 23 and had not returned as of January 3, 2024. She was arrested in the Lone Star State on Friday and booked into the Comal County Jail on charges of sexual contact with a student, statutory rape in the second degree, endangering the welfare of a child, and child molestation / being more than four years older than a victim under the age of 17.
Until very recently, Clifton-Carmack was married to Chance Carmack who is serving or served in the US Army and is also a mixed-martial artist with the Synergy X league.
Carmack is scheduled to fight on January 20 at the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, Missouri, with the event starting at 5 PM local time.
According to her social media, Clifton-Carmack has two young daughters of her own, though it is unknown as to whether or not Carmack is the father.
