A Mexican influencer and OnlyFans model took the seedy industry and used it for good, helping cover the cost of a 17-year-old’s chemotherapy.
Karely Ruiz, who has well over 4 million followers on Instagram, chose to give money to assist Sebastián Herrera, who is battling Ewing’s sarcoma.
Ruiz is one of the top 5 OnlyFans content creators in Mexico, averaging over $36,000 per month, according to the Daily Mail.
Ruiz had originally planned to give away liposuction treatment to celebrate reaching 3 million followers on Instagram last month, but changed her mind when Herrera’s mother reached out.
“Karely I don’t want (a) lipo, I want you to give me a chemo for my son Sebas, he is 17 years old and I take him to (Monterrey) for his treatment, we are from Torreón,” the mother wrote.
According to the Daily Mail, 21-year-old Ruiz raised nearly $20,000 for the remaining treatments.
In addition, Ruiz bought Herrera a Nintendo Switch.
“We are now more in contact with her and everything and she is looking after Sebastián,” Herrera’s mother said on her TikTok account. “Well I want to thank her for all the help and support she is giving Sebas and we are happy for her.”
Ewing’s sarcoma is a rare cancer that affects bones and the soft tissue around them. It is rather common in teens and children, but not so much in adults.
