Mar. 7—Taking a stroll downtown alongside Ross Avenue in Dallas, a passerby will see the massive outdoor advertising for Nike’s latest collaboration with Jacquemus, featuring hometown hero Sha’Carri Richardson. Nike debuted the World Athletics Championship gold medalist as the face of its 2024 spring collection earlier this month.
“Being from the city, representing the city to being posted in the city,” Richardson said on X, formerly Twitter, about the ad.
Prior to unveiling Richardson as the face of its newest campaign, Jacquemus gave fans a sneak peek into the line, showcasing someone holding a bag in the shape of Nike’s iconic swoosh with the tagline, “Guess Who?”
Known for her signature long nails, it didn’t take people long to name Richardson as the woman in the photo.
World class sprinters work out remarkably few hours per week, so famous women sprinters like Flo-Jo, Gail Devers, and Sha'Carri Richardson (below) found themselves with a lot of time on their hands to work on their looks: pic.twitter.com/SQT65Gmqii

The full collection debuted on March 5, including the Le Sac Swoosh in dark pink and dark brown retailing for $459. The line also includes athleisure wear in brown, pink, red and cream — much of which has sold out —to pair with the small swoosh bag.
Founded in 2009 by French fashion designer Simon Porte Jacquemus, his namesake brand boasts designs critics describe as minimalist with a bold flair.
