The female boxer who flashed her audience after winning a match has been banned from a tournament reportedly having permission to “put on her high beams.”
Daniella Hemsley, a boxer who has a side job as an e-girl on OnlyFans, claims she was told she could flash her breasts after defeating Aleksandra Danielka in the Kingpyn High Stakes Tournament (KHST),
Despite this, she has been banned from pushing forward to the finals.
“As we strive to bring fans the best influencer boxing events possible, we accept that Saturday’s post fight incident may have offended some viewers and we appreciate that this incident didn’t meet the standards expected from Kingpyn fight nights,” a statement read. “We apologise fully to anyone upset from the broadcast. The fighter involved in the incident will not be appearing in the final event and has decided to take some time away from boxing.”
In a video posted to social media, Hemsley addressed the incident. “I hope you’ve really enjoyed this weekend’s antics,” she said. “You’ve enjoyed my win – my first win – and I really hope you enjoyed the celebration after.”
According to the Daily Mail, Hemsley claims she is taking a break from boxing, and will likely return to fight in the winter.
Meanwhile, boxing promoter Eddie Hearn told Boxing Social that he has grown tired of exhibition boxing with celebrity influencers.
“I hate it, we’ve worked so hard for women in boxing to be respected for their ability, for their merits, for their hard work,” he said. “One thing we must understand is that ain’t boxing. And that needs to be pushed, all that stuff, Misfits, Kingpyn, it needs to be booted so far away from professional boxing and we really need to disassociate ourselves with what it is.”
Female boxer Claressa Shields called the flashing incident “a step backwards for women’s boxing.”
