A comic book empire known for their downward slide into “wokeness” has now gone full-tilt, wanting to remove the “Men” from “X-Men” for the sake of inclusiveness.
The Mutant franchise is currently under fire from Marvel Studios’ new president of Physical, Post Production, VFX, and Animation, Victoria Alonso.
Alonso claims that the team has a non-inclusive team moniker.
On YouTube program Nuke the Fridge, Alonso “hinted that internal thinking is that the name ‘X-Men’ isn’t sufficiently inclusive.”
“I don’t know where the future is going. It’s funny that people call it the X-Men, there’s a lot of female superheroes in that X-Men group, so I think it’s outdated,” she said.
According to the Daily Wire, Alonso has been one of the individuals behind pushing many “woke” changes and decisions within the Marvel Universe.
In related news, Marvel Chief Creative Officer, Kevin Feige will reportedly be producing an X-Men reboot, titled “The Mutants. “
