Woody Harrelson gets into fight at Watergate hotel in DC, 'acted in self-defense' according to authorities

Actor Woody Harrelson got into a scrap at the Watergate Hotel in DC, after the man refused to stop photographing his family.

The DC Metropolitan Police Department said that Harrelson was not the aggressor.

Law enforcement responded to the fight around 11 PM on Wednesday.

According to NBC Washington, the fight is being viewed as an act of self-defense.

Harrelson claimed that the man grabbed his neck, prompting his response.

Interestingly enough, Harrelson’s fight took place in the hotel where he was filming an HBO series called “The White House Plumbers,” on the Watergate scandal.
