A woman in South Dakota was stripped of her pants and left unconscious after she was charged by an adult bison at Custer State Park.
The bison attack reportedly took place on Wednesday evening, when a woman on a motorcycle dismounted a motorcycle and approached a bison calf.
An adult bison, seemingly seeking to protect the calf, charged the woman, attempting to gore her with one of its horns.
The horn caught the woman’s belt, resulting in the woman being flailed about until her pants came off.
According to Kelo, the woman was knocked unconscious after she eventually was brought back down to earth with a hard thud.
The woman was transported by helicopter to a local hospital, but did not sustain any serious injuries.
