White House Press Secretary Kalyeigh McEnany has reportedly tested positive for coronavirus, according to government officials.
McEnany, known for her fiery presence and no-nonsense attitude when dealing with the press pool, reportedly tested positive this morning.
“After testing negative consistently, including every day since Thursday, I tested positive for COVID-19 on Monday morning while experiencing no symptoms,” McEnany wrote in a statement.
Despite testing positive, McEnany is determined to carry out her duties.
“With my recent positive test, I will begin the quarantine process and will continue working remotely on behalf of the American people,” she added.
According to CNBC, Hope Hicks was revealed to have tested positive for Covid-19. President Donald J. Trump’s diagnosis was revealed shortly thereafter.
