A Utah high school became a flurry of police activity after an ISIS flag and graffiti were spotted on campus.
Hurricane Police were called to Hurricane High School (if you haven’t guessed, the Utah town is called Hurricane) after an ISIS flag was found on the campus flagpole and “ISIS IS COMI” graffiti was discovered on the school’s outer wall.
Following hours of investigation, it was determined by police that the whole thing was a hoax- ISIS was not “comi” anywhere, let alone coming.
“Based on information we received from the FBI we do not believe this act was perpetrated by someone linked to the Islamic State,” Hurricane police said in a news release.
According to the Salt Lake Tribune, the graffiti has been removed and the US Flag is back where it belongs.
