Two business teachers in Wisconsin resigned after the school district became aware of their inappropriate behavior while on a class trip.
Alexsia Saldaris and Jennifer Larson submitted their resignations to the Janesville School District and left their positions at Joseph Craig High School on April 22.
Saldaris had only worked for the district for one year and Larson had been employed for eleven years.
Records obtained by WMTV indicate the incident occurred during a school trip that took place from April 7-9.
Both Saldaris and Larson were using Snapchat to message a student on the trip.
They told the student they wanted to cuddle and “have fun” with the student and even asked if another student would join.
Saldaris is also accused of giving keys to a district van to the student and letting them “take a lap” in the parking lot.
During the driving incident, Saldaris and the student “shared a half kiss” in the back of the van.
Saldaris also sent the student five photos of herself in lingerie and undergarments via Snapchat.
The report states text messages between Saldaris and the student referring to planning to meet on the weekend were also found.
The day after the trip, on April 10, Saldaris texted the student to end their “relationship” and the student agreed.
The school became aware the next morning when another teacher confronted a group of boys laughing around a phone.
The teacher claims they were “95% sure” the photos the boys were looking at were of Saldaris in her undergarments.
The teachers were immediately confronted by school officials and Saldaris admitted to using Snapchat to send pictures to the student.
Larson admitted to sending messages “involving cuddling, flirting, and the implication of alcohol.”
They were both placed on paid administrative leave on April 12.
