Travis County, Texas – Dillon Passage, one of the stars in Netflix’s “Tiger King” docuseries, was arrested and charged with driving while intoxicated and resisting arrest early Sunday morning.
Passage, the husband of Joe Exotic, zookeeper and series’ namesake “Tiger King”, failed a sobriety test administered by the Manor Police Department.
Dillon Passage, the 25-year-old was also charged with misdemeanor resisting arrest, search or transport.
Passage was booked into Travis County jail and held on $3,000 bond. His husband Joe Exotic, or Joe Maldonado took to instagram after the news and wrote, “I am just glad that no one was hurt learning such a lesson that drinking and driving is something to take very seriously. I love my husband and will be there for him, just as he has been for me. If we all learn something from this, it is not ok to be irresponsible and drink and drive”.
Joe Maldonado, is currently serving out a 22 year prison sentence for being found guilty for participation in a murder-for-hire plot which was the focal point of the hit docuseries from Netflix that debuted last March.
