Don’t mess with Terrell Owens.
That’s advice most would follow when it comes to the 6′3 former wide receiver. But one aggressor took his chances Sunday night.
Owens stopped into a CVS in Los Angeles Saturday night where he ran into a San Francisco 49ers fan. Owens spent the first eight years of his career with the franchise, and he started chatting with the fan. Then, a second man approached and began antagonizing the fan and threatened to beat up both men outside. Bad idea.
The three men ended up outside of the CVS where Owens was playing peacemaker, a witness told TMZ Sports. However, a fight ensued after the heckler tried to punch the 48-year-old Owens. A punch to the man’s chin sent him to the ground and that seemed to end the altercation. You can watch the video obtained by TMZ Sports here.
This is not the only quarrel Owens has been a part of recently. Back in August, Terrell Owens had a heated argument with a neighbor that led to police involvement. TMZ Sports obtained court records that indicate the neighbor, Caitlin Davis, was charged with a second-degree misdemeanor for false reports. According to the records, authorities say she “knowingly” gave “false information to a law enforcement officer.” She is due in court for a hearing in December, and if she is convicted she could face jail time.

After his time with the 49ers, Owens played for the Philadelphia Eagles in 2004 and 2005. He then played with the Dallas Cowboys, Buffalo Bills and Cincinnati Bengals. The six-time Pro Bowler and five-time All-Pro retired from his 15-year career in 2010.
