Scott Disick is out of rehab after a treatment center allegedly leaked the reality star’s photo.
The “Keeping Up With the Kardashians” star has left the Colorado facility he was in for nearly a week after the center reportedly posted an image of him to a Zoom group meeting, the 36-year-old’s lawyer, Marty Singer, told E! News on Monday.
“Shockingly as a result of the HIPAA violation of the facility and his violation of privacy, he has checked himself out and is immediately returning home,” Singer told the outlet. “We are alarmed by this extreme invasion of privacy and plan to take immediate legal action.”
Singer also attributed the reality star’s stay to working on “past traumas” linked to his parents’ deaths in 2013 and 2014, rather than substance abuse.
“In an effort to finally come to terms and deal with the pain that Scott has been silently suffering for many years due to the sudden death of his mother, followed by the death of his father 3 months later, Scott made the decision to check himself into a rehab facility last week to work on his past traumas,” Singer told E! News. “He did not check in for any alcohol or cocaine abuse.”
Disick spoke about his losses on last week’s “Keeping Up” episode, saying he’d previously been “dreading” looking at photos of his late parents.
Kourtney Kardashian, Disick’s ex and mother of his three children, reportedly “won’t allow him around the kids unless he gets treatment,” according to outlet.
