Two women who met Oscar-winning actor Richard Dreyfuss backstage in 2004 are claiming the Jaws actor touched them inappropriately.
The two women -who saw a Broadway production of Sly Fox- got more than they bargained for when they met Dreyfuss, telling the New York Daily News that he pawed at the women and grabbed one on her backside.
Sharing photographic evidence with the New York tabloid, the photographs show Dreyfuss hugging the fans, placing his hand over the derriere of one and kissing the cheek of another.
“The first thing he did was give me a hug, and he stuck his hand almost in the crack of my butt. He didn’t even give me any warning,’ the woman, identified only as Beth, told the New York Daily News.
“I was so uncomfortable,” she added. “It was such a weird, awkward feeling.”
The second woman -identified only as Susan- claimed the situation was “creepy, weird and awkward.”
The Dreyfuss estate could not be reached for content. It is unknown as to why the women -who met Dreyfuss in 2004- waited until 2018 to speak about the incident.
