Awkward. That’s about the best way you can sum up watching this contestant lose during the big spin and then aimlessly wander around the stage searching for an exit.
According to the NY Post, the video is from a January 2021 taping of an episode. A TikTok user was watching the episode and noticed the editing error.
The woman who lost during the “Big Wheel” can be seen heading toward the back thinking there was an exit there. Turns out, the sliding door didn’t open and left her trying to find somewhere to exit, stage left.
The entire mishap lasts about 10 seconds but for that woman, it must have felt like so much longer.
One person commented on the video saying, “I went to this taping last January. This exact episode. We were hysterically laughing at her, there’s only 1 exit off stage.”
