An Australian snowboarder is catching flak for posting a photo of her breastfeeding her son while performing a headstand.
The Mother’s Day stunt, which was as timely as it was strange, drew some criticism after being posted to Instagram.
The snowboarder in question, Torah Bright, was surprised everyone was so unhappy about the image.
“That’s just f—king weird. What are you trying to prove?,” one user wrote.
“Reading some of these comments made me sad,” Bright responded.
According to the New York Post, her son, Flow, is only 10 months old.
A veteran athlete in the Land Down Under, Bright won the gold in the halfpipe at the 2010 Olympics in Vancouver and silver at Sochi four years later.
