A woman from Tennessee is facing backlash online after filming herself at a grocery store’s self-checkout line and posting the video to TikTok, claiming men were creeping on her.
The controversy arose when Twitch streamer and OnlyFans creator Katie Miller, recorded a man behind her who glanced in her direction multiple times.
In the 36-second video, Katie Miller is seen taking her time at the self-checkout while setting up her phone to film herself. She later added text to the video that read “Look Counter,” tallying up seven instances of the man looking her way.
Critics were quick to point out that the man was merely waiting for an available self-checkout kiosk and that there was nothing creepy about his behavior. He was simply looking at the customers ahead of him as he waited for his turn.
Throughout the video, Katie rolled her eyes and giggled uncomfortably while watching the man via her phone.
As he finished his own checkout process and walked away, she muttered under her breath, “That’s what you guys are, just a couple of meat bags.”
The video went viral after X user @Malcolm_fleX48 posted it, writing, “He is literally waiting on people to hurry up so he can check out with his food. Holding up a checkout to make a TikTok should be a criminal offense.”
One commenter responded, “She has a camera out recording him while he waits in line and he is the bad guy. Smh. I hope she is banned from that store.” Another added, “Yeah, this is absolutely heinous behavior.”
Others criticized Katie for seemingly seeking attention by posting a video that suggested she was uncomfortable with the attention.
“It’s 2024, of course this woman makes a video suggesting that she doesn’t like the attention, and then posts the video to social media in order to get attention,” one person commented.
Some speculated that Katie’s actions might have irritated those behind her in line.
“That man is thinking, ‘Can you hurry up?’” one commenter mused. “Is she still paying? Looks like she’s just standing there. I wonder if she’s on some drugs.”
The Nashville-based content creator was quickly identified by savvy netizens, who pointed out that most of her social media posting is advertising for her OnlyFans account.

According to the Daily Mail, after the tweet went viral, Katie was live streaming from her kitchen to nearly 2,000 viewers. She filmed herself cooking a cake while fielding questions and comments about her appearance, including her butt, stomach, and hair.
The situation has sparked a conversation about privacy and the ethics of recording people in public spaces without their consent. Many have expressed their disapproval of Katie’s actions and her apparent quest for social media coverage at the expense of others.
In recent years, a rift has emerged between attention-hungry content creators seeking viral moments and ordinary individuals who inadvertently become part of someone’s marketing scheme- often at the expense of their dignity and character.
