A Brooklyn woman who is known for her dance moves and pole dancing ability has been named the 2022 U.S. Pole Dancing champion after intense competition in Orlando, Florida.
According to the NY Post, Donna Carrow earned the title, a gold medal, and a $1,000 prize for her skills.
Carrow beat out 11 other finalists to claim the title.
Her award-winning performance featured a number of dizzying spins and slides that were frequently accompanied by applause.
Carrow started pole dancing nine years ago while she was in college, though not in the adult entertainment sense. She now spends six to 10 hours a day training and teaching classes at an NYC gym.
With pole dancing, Carrow has been trying to get a shot at being on Broadway as a dancer.
