Former “Beverly Hills, 90210” actor Ian Ziering got into a New Years’s Eve fight with a group of people riding mini-motorcycles on Hollywood Boulevard.
Video of the brawl shows the 59-year-old Newark, N.J. native exiting his car in the middle of a busy Los Angeles street to confront one of several bikers swarming about around 3 p.m. According to TMZ, one of those motorists may have struck Ziering’s car.
The footage begins with Ziering lunging at one of the bikers as that person is dismounting their vehicle. Ziering, who voices a character on the animated program “Biker Mice from Mars,” kicks and shoves that person before being surrounded by at least five other people — several of whom begin striking at him.
He runs across the street with one person draped on his back and several assailants in pursuit. Ziering manages to get away after absorbing a few blows.
The bikers had been driving recklessly, according to Los Angeles station KTLA.
Law enforcement sources told TMZ that the Los Angeles Police Department is aware of the incident and is in contact with the parties involved. It’s unclear to what extent anyone was injured.
