On Friday, the crowd at the Bare Knuckle Fighting Championship, in Bangkok, got a surprise during a fighter’s victory celebration.
After knocking out Rung-Arun Khunchai, Tai Emery jumped on the ropes of the ring, lifted her top, and exposed her breasts to the crowd.
It was not something she regrets.
She posted a video and pictures of the celebration on her Instagram, but she did not acknowledge the nudity.
She explained why she exposed her tongue to the crowd, stating it’s a tradition of the Maori people.
“The word PUKANA comes from the indigenous people of New Zealand, The Maori,” she wrote in her caption. “And extend the tongue, as if to say “I care not what happens to me, I fear not the difficulty, I will have my victory.”
In another post, which features a video of the celebration, she wrote:
“If you don’t know, now you know. Cheers heaps to everyone that has ever given me a meal, place to sleep, place to train, coached me, or had belief in me.”
The former model and electrician has competed in amateur MMA fights but prior to her first-round knock-out victory, she had never fought a bare-knuckle match.
