The undefeated boxing legend Floyd Mayweather is apparently taking his upcoming fight against YouTuber Logan Paul very seriously.
Despite having a record of 50-0 against professional boxers, the 44-year-old is not taking any chances with ruining that streak, even if it is against an unprofessional boxer.
Seemingly not wanting any distractions while he trains and prepares, Mayweather kicked his 29-year-old girlfriend Anna Monroe from his $10 million Las Vegas home.
According to The Sun, the lead dancer at his Las Vegas club Girl Collection was told to move into her old apartment.
“It’s been a stressful time for her but she is being understanding and she knows he is the one who calls the shots in their relationship,” a source told The Sun.
“Some of her friends think it’s strange because he lives in a huge mansion in Vegas with 11 bedrooms and two guest houses – so there’s more than enough room for him to have his own space, but Floyd wanted her to go so he could focus”
Floyd’s last professional fight was a boxing fight against UFC star Connor McGregor in 2017 but he did defeat Japanese kickboxer Tenshin Nasukawa in a crossover event in 2018.
Last week it was announced that he would take on Paul, who only has one professional fight, which was against YouTuber KSI in Miami.
The matchup was clearly not chosen over boxing skill but for the expected viewership.
“This is so beyond me, it’s going to be crazy. I think it’s going to be one of the highest-grossing pay-per-view fights ever,” Paul said during his podcast IMPAULSIVE.
