A video of an alleged road rage incident in Maryland is raising questions about a few topics, including when exactly people became so darned rude to one another.
Taking place in the town of Arnold, the video shows Jessica Maxfield being assaulted by a man and a woman – identified as Ethan Tavon Jones and Amanda Lane Smith- after a road rage incident that took place earlier.
“Today I was assaulted in Arnold, MD off of route 2 and followed all the way to mago vista by a grown man (about 50 years old). Please be very careful and aware if you ever see these 2 psychos in this video!!” wrote Maxfield in the video, posted Monday to her Facebook. “They followed me all the way to where I was going, for trying to get away from their vehicle since they had road rage!”
In the video, Maxfield was told she drove “like a God*amn maniac,” by Smith, prompting Smith to hurl insults at the two.
“You’re f***ing little b**ch-a** husband punched my f***ing car,” Maxfield said, prompting Smith to get out of the vehicle.
Smith then threatened to punch Maxfield, who in no way made any attempts to de-escalate the situation, referring to Smith as a “b**ch.”
When Maxfield deployed OC spray, Jones exited the vehicle and assaulted her.
“Who you sprayin’ Mace at? Who you sprayin’ Mace at?” he said repeatedly as he threw a hook.
A fight ensued and the phone was taken by Jones, who smashed the phone.
According to Fox Baltimore, the Anne Arundel County Police apprehended Jones and Smith, charging with second-degree assault and destruction of property and charging Smith with second-degree assault.
