Marines recognize teen unable to join the Corps

Becoming a Marine is the one thing 16-year-old Gabe Fuller wants to do when he turns 18. However his life long battle with cystic fibrosis will never allow him to be able to join the Corps. After the Marines heard about this young man with a desire to be a part of the Corps they planed the surprise of a lifetime. Major Shawn Meier the commanding officer of the Recruiting Station in Cleveland showed up at the hospital with gifts courtesy of the Marines. In addition to spending time with Major Meier, Gabe also received a video call from his sister in the Army who is on post in South Korea and a lesson on how to salute the Marine Corps way.
