A man in New York City managed to hack the top dating apps and unleash his inner American Psycho to flirt with thousands of women at the same time.
TikToker Ethan Keiser reportedly hacked into the user database of the top dating apps, accruing 45,000 right swipes.
Of those 45,000, Keiser had 5,000 matches and used an AI to speak to the women, using lines from Christian Bale’s portrayal of serial killer Patrick Bateman in “American Psycho” and the Daniel Craig iteration of James Bond.
Incredulously, women would be none the wiser as they talked to the AI and would carry on conversations, despite being led by the AI.
Of the 5,000 right-swipes, around 500 women gave him their numbers and seemed to really hit it off with an AI.
The experiment gave a horrifying insight into how humans can not only be easily led on by AI, but also are apparently attacted to one-liners written for psychopaths.
