Seasoned senior boxer Mike Tyson is once again making headlines, this time for disarming a gunman at a comedy show without throwing a punch.
The boxer, who is often split between whether or not he makes good or bad headlines, reportedly took an armed man down with kindness at a Hollywood bar on Tuesday night.
While California is a gun-unfriendly state with a laundry list of laws in place, the statutes did not seem to deter the unknown gunman, who produced the firearm while Tyson was socializing.
According to TMZ, the man was challenging Tyson to a fight but was eventually told to leave by the Emcee.
After the man drew his firearm, Tyson moved quickly as others scrambled for cover.
Instead of engaging him, however, Tyson heard the man out, urging people to refrain from notifying the authorities.
When the man finished speaking, Tyson embraced the man and sent him on his way.
No individuals were harmed, and the LAPD claim they did not receive a call on the matter.
