YouTube star, amateur fighter and all-around polarizing guy Logan Paul is facing a $3 million lawsuit for his atrocious behavior while filming in Japan’s “Suicide Forest.”
The incident, which involved Paul reacting to a dead body in the forest, caused a huge fuss among Paul’s critics, and effectively scuttled a $3.5 million movie deal between Google and Planeless Pictures.
“Google determined that the suicide broadcast was a noncurable event pursuant to its agreement with Planeless,” the lawsuit documents read. “As a result, Planeless never received the compensation that Google was contractually obligated to pay to it- $3,500,000.”
According to the New York Post, the film was to be named “Airplane Mode” and would have featured Paul playing himself.
The YouTuber has around 23 million subscribers, and eventually turned toward amateur fighitng.
The lawsuit claims that Paul “acted in reckless disregard for the adverse consequences that he knew would result to Planeless.”
