As Lady Gaga stepped out to sing the national anthem at Joe Biden’s inauguration on Wednesday, some felt like she looked like she could be part of the Capitol at the “Hunger Games.”
“Seeing Lady Gaga walk out I truly feel like I am in the Hunger Games,” one Twitter user wrote.
On Wednesday, Biden and Kalama Harris were sworn in to be president and vice president.
Harris became the first female vice president. She will also be the first Black woman and person of South Asian descent to be vice president.
Celebrities, including Gaga and Jennifer Lopez, were part of the Inauguration Day ceremonies.
Gaga is known for her outrageous outfits over the years, and Wednesday’s was no different.
“May the odds forever be in your favor,” one Twitter user tweeted during her performance.
Some pointed to the giant bird as the reason, which one Twitter user pointed out was a dove, not a Mockingjay, made famous in the “Hunger Game” series.
