Yet another dog has been stolen in a rather serious fashion in California, and now the “Insta-famous” owner of the French Bulldog is offering twelve grand for the animal’s safe return.
North Hollywood resident Jasmin Valencia’s brother was forcibly separated from Seven, a 5-month-old puppy, after a man brandished a gun and took the animal from him.
The robbery is just one of several Los Angeles-area dog thefts involving gunplay.
According to the Los Angeles Times, the highest profile incident involved Ryan Fischer, Lady Gaga’s dog walker, who was shot last month while walking three French Bulldogs.
Fischer survived the incident, but for a certain period of time, many media outlets seemed more concerned for the dogs’ safe return than the man’s well-being.
A $500,000 reward was offered for the return of the dogs, and they were reunited with Lady Gaga after two days.
Jasmin Valencia is known on Instagram as “Jazzyskyy,” and had 40.6k followers.
