The Idaho Fine Arts Academy has removed a staff member after she made several obscene comments, including suggesting that Boise Mayor Lauren McLean needed to be fornicate with members of the Black Lives Matter movement.
Rita Soltesz, who was working as a classical music teacher at the IFAA and also taught at Eagle Middle School, made a bizarre comment on Facebook, seemingly suggested that Mayor McLean and others who share her ideology should participate in a “group activity” involving sex with BLM members, and that masks should be worn.
According to KTVB7, a uder took screenshots and posted them to the IFAA page, and IFAA Secretary Cynthia Anderson denounced the comments.
“My heart dropped when I saw this,” Anderson wrote. “We are taking immediate action. This is not what we represent and will not stand for it.”
Prior to her removal from the IFAA website, IFAA Principal Christian Housel promised an investigation.
“The Facebook post by one of IFAA’s staff does not reflect the values of our school or the West Ada School District,” Housel wrote.
The West Ada School district also took action, and Soltesz is no longer employed there.
