An Australian escort is reflecting upon her life as a high-profile lady of the night, claiming she has no regrets.
On social media, Amanda Goff, a journalist-turned-sex worker, spoke as a 45-year-old of her escapades in her thirties.
Known as “Samantha X,” the mother-of-two suffered from bipolar disorder and claimed this led her down her path as “Samantha.”
It wasn’t until she was properly treated for the disorder that she realized who she really was, and stepped away from the sex work industry.
As for whether or not she regrets it, she told her 30,400 fans on Instagram that she really has no qualms about her experiences.
“The lessons I’ve learned, the compassion, empathy, resilience, and the authenticity I’m now armed with I wouldn’t change for the world,” she said.
She opened up about her experiences on her now-deleted Instagram (@Samanthaxafterdark) page and claims she has become a better person because of her time as a high-end escort.
“I feel privileged to be a vehicle for men to open up to, and honored that I somehow help women discover their sexuality,” she claimed.
“It hasn’t been easy for many reasons and I struggle a lot with guilt and shame at times, but what I’ve learnt about men, women and myself is a gift. I also learned that most people are hypocrites and I can sniff bullsh*t out in nanoseconds.”
