US political figures reportedly have deep ties with Chinese Communist Party spies, according to US officials and investigators from Axios.
In another example of how a foreign power can corrupt and accelerate national ruin from within, the findings of the investigation reveal that several high-ranking officials may have had contact with Chinese operatives, including a woman named Fang Fang.
Fang Fang or Christine Fang is a PRC national reported to have carried out extensive networking, personal charisma, and romantic or sexual relationships with several political officials, from the position of mayor on up.
Most shocking is Fang’s role in fundraising activity for Rep. Eric Swalwell’s (D-Calif.) 2014 re-election campaign, which was revealed by a Bay Area political operative and a current US intelligence official.
According to Axios, the operative reported that Swalwell’s office was directly aware of these activities on its behalf.
Fang Fang had multiple sexual relationships with American mayors, and was caught carrying out these relationships by the FBI, who began looking into her while surveilling someone else.
US intelligence agencies are concerned with the level of involvement Chinese operatives have within US politics, particularly when it comes to swaying agendas and destabilization moves to degrade US dominance as a global power.
Just yesterday, a video leaked of a Chinese professor giving a speech in which he bragged about this very type of activity.
While discussing why Chinese-American relations were at an all time low during the Trump administration, Di Dongsheng, a professor and associate dean of the School of International Studies at Renmin University in Beijing boasted that it wouldn’t be a problem any longer because they had their people “at the top of America’s core inner circle of power and influence.” Di continued, “we have our old friends.”
