The daughter of the famous Australian horse breeder, Ross Daisley, is accused of molesting a teen boy numerous times in one day.
Savannah Daisley, 45, was denied bail on Tuesday by a judge at the Waverley Local Court in Sydney.
The mother of two denies the allegations, which the judge called “quite disturbing,” that led to her being charged.
Police allege Daisley molested a 14-year-old boy four times before 5:00 PM on May 20 of last year.
Police claim to have evidence of her making admissions of guilt during a phone call to the boy but her attorney claims his client is being targeted “in spite.”
While the prosecutor admits Daisley seemed to not recall all of the molestations that occurred while speaking on the recorded phone call due to intoxication; she did admit wrongdoing.
“I thought you were going to call the police on me, I thought we had placed this in a little box and thrown it deep into the sea,’” the prosecutor read to the court.
“The facts are that admissions were made that were captured on telephone intercept and it is a quite serious matter,” the prosecutor said.
Daisley’s father, Ross, offered to pay $10,000 as bail to ensure his daughter would return to court but the judge denied the offer, according to NCA newswire.
Daisley is the author of two health books: “14 Day Smart Cleanse” and the forthcoming “Epigenetics.”
She has been in custody since she was arrested by the Child Abuse unit on June 27.
