Controversy seems to follow Antonio Brown wherever he goes.
That trend continued on Saturday, when the New York Post released videos from a May 14 incident at a Dubai hotel pool.
Brown, who was apparently nude in the pool, is shown shoving his naked buttocks directly in the face of another guest, who eyewitnesses told the Post he had just met.
In another video, Brown is shown trying to tie another swimmer’s head scarf to the woman. When she removed it, he then tossed the woman head-first into the pool, after which she swims away. An onlooker can be heard yelling “he’s waterboarding her!”
The former All-Pro then exposed his private parts in the direction of the woman.
Initially, the woman appears to be laughing, but said eyewitnesses told the Post that she was “fuming” afterward.
According to the Post, the hotel declined comment, but the paper did confirm that Brown was asked to leave the hotel after the incident, noting he had caused a commotion by smoking in his room and not following United Arab Emirates dress code.
Brown was in the UAE to see Floyd Mayweather box in an exhibition match.
He has had an embattled last handful of years, seeing an eight-game suspension from the NFL following sexual assault allegations by former trainer Britney Taylor, as well as a 2020 no-contest plea to burglary and battery charges.
Brown, 34, is a seven-time Pro Bowler after being selected in the sixth round of the 2010 NFL Draft out of Central Michigan. The last time he was on an NFL field, he was seen running off from the Buccaneers sideline midgame shirtless following a feud with coaches and teammates.
An aspiring rapper now, this incident sure makes it seem even less likely he’ll step foot on the gridiron again.
