British website OnlyFans is halting their decision to distance themselves from the hordes of e-girls who set up porn services on their website- at least for now.
In a move directly related to backlash from their previous announcement to block sexually explicit content from its platform, OnlyFans will continue to host subscription-based porn.
A tweet from the company stated that they will continue to “provide a home for all creators.”
The previous attempt to ban adult content led to a massive cry of outrage from content creators who have taken to adult material in lieu of more socially legitimate vocations.
According to Forbes, the original ban plans were set to take effect October 1.
The website exploded in popularity in recent years, reaching its peak during the 2020 lockdowns.
