British music artist FKA Twigs claims that her allegedly abusive relationship with Shia LaBeouf left her in shambles, including anxiety when it came to looking at other men.
The singer who was recently on the BBC Radio 4 podcast “Grounded,” claimed that her nine-month relationship was both rocky and bizarre.
Twigs claimed that LaBeouf -who is known for his bizarre run-ins with law enforcement, “art,” and nearly being driven to the brink of insanity by 4chan- made her feel as if she was “the worst person ever” and convinced her to be isolated from friends and family.
At one point, she was ordered by the “Transformers” actor to never look another man in the eye and was allegedly choked at a gas station.
According to Page Six, she eventually got the courage to escape after calling an abuse helpline.
“I genuinely felt it was impossible to leave, I felt so controlled … it was completely overwhelming,” she said.
Currently, Twigs is in the process of suing LeBeouf for sexual battery, assault and infliction of emotional distress.
