A social media campaign by two Iowa police departments has gone viral. Officers from the Ames and Iowa State Police teamed up to encourage the community to “donut disrespect” each other, and will be sharing donuts as rewards. The two friendly officers embrace everyone’s favorite cop stereotype by devouring a plate of donuts together for the PSA. The Ames Police twitter account even shared a video of their “Donutmobile” sporting the new motto on its hood.
Introducing the donutmobile. Look for it around town as we spread a message of respect with donuts starting tomorrow. #DonutDisrespect pic.twitter.com/xotAoQ3je0
