When a Placer County Sheriff’s deputy found a bear poking around a Tahoe City gas stations trash it quickly became a game of Peek-a-boo.
It’s the time of the year that bears wake from hibernation so spotting of them in search for food is more common.
In a Facebook post from the Placer County Sheriff’s Office they warned, “This is prime time for bears to come out of hibernation in search of food, and they’re not shy about getting into your homes, cars, garbage cans, you name it!
The Placer County Sheriff’s Office also advise people not to interact with the bears no matter how irresistibly cute they are.
