Passengers aboard a Delta Airlines flight were surprised when a Florida man with a service dog had a breakdown of sorts, eventually escaping the plane via the inflatable slide.
Antonio Murdock, 31, was reportedly suffering from PTSD when he departed the aircraft using the emergency slide at LaGuardia Airport on Monday morning.
The flight, which was headed to Atlanta, GA, was taxiing at 10:55 AM when the incident took place.
His “companion,” 23-year-old Brianna Greco, and his service dog followed him down the slide.
Murdock and Greco, both residents of Florida, were charged with criminal trespass, reckless endangerment, disorderly conduct and obstructing governmental administration.
According to the New York Post, the dog was taken to a Brooklyn animal care facility until Murdock could pick it up.
The aircraft has been repaired and is now flyable once again.
