Maggie Rawlins decided to ditch the dresses and mask up when the COVID-19 pandemic began last year, but the registered nurse decided to take a step out of the Intensive Care Unit and slip back into a bikini for this year’s Sports Illustrated Swimsuit Edition.
According to Page Six, Rawlins had a flourishing modeling career, though she had never been selected for the prestigious magazine.
Rawlins was a nurse working in Charleston, South Carolina when she was noticed by a talent scout. That soon lead to a budding career as a model.
But when the pandemic began, Rawlins went to work in New York City as a nurse and volunteered as a One World Health ambassador.
She took some time off from nursing to complete a shoot in Fort Lauderdale in front of the Seminole Hard Rock hotel.
